Applying & taking part
The Gaia Bali New Earth Immersion is a nine-day experience of practice, rest, nature and connection in West Bali. This page explains the application process and the care we ask everyone to bring to the experience.
It covers applications for the Immersion on 17–25 April 2027. It is not the booking contract and does not set terms for other Gaia Bali offerings. Operator and contact information is provided in our Legal Notice.
An application opens a conversation
Applying is free. It does not reserve a place, create a booking or require you to pay. We review your application and, if there appears to be a mutual fit, invite you to a personal clarity call. Both sides can ask questions before deciding whether to continue.
Before you make a booking commitment or payment, we will provide the full booking terms, including the confirmed offer, cancellation and transfer arrangements, and what happens if Gaia Bali changes or cancels the experience. You can review those terms before deciding.
What the experience involves
Practices may include movement, yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound, ritual, group sharing and time outdoors. The Immersion is educational and experiential. It does not provide medical treatment, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, diagnosis or crisis support.
Experiences differ from person to person. We do not guarantee healing or a particular emotional, spiritual, physical or relationship outcome.
Your pace and your boundaries
You may rest, adapt or decline a practice. You do not need to explain a personal boundary to the group. Speak privately with a facilitator if you need support, and follow reasonable safety guidance when leaving a session or an outdoor activity.
Please stay within your present capacity. If you are unsure whether a practice is appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating. Our application and conversation cannot replace that assessment. Do not stop or change prescribed treatment on the basis of retreat content.
Your freedom to choose does not remove our responsibility to organise and facilitate the experience with appropriate care.
Sharing information with care
Answer relevant application questions honestly and let us know if something changes that could affect your participation. Share only what is needed to discuss fit or support; please do not send a detailed medical history through a general enquiry.
The application opens on Tally. Our Privacy Notice explains how application information is handled. Any request for consent to process sensitive information is separate from optional marketing. Applying does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
How we look after the shared space
- Treat participants, facilitators, staff and local communities with dignity, including when your backgrounds or beliefs differ.
- Ask before touching someone. Respect a refusal, hesitation or change of mind immediately.
- Keep other people's personal stories and identifying details private. Ask for permission before taking or sharing photos or recordings.
- Allow others their own pace. Do not pressure anyone to disclose, join a practice or adopt a belief.
- Bring concerns to the facilitation team. Harassment, discrimination, threats and violence are incompatible with the shared space.
These commitments guide facilitators as well as participants. If a concern arises, we will listen and respond proportionately. An activity may need to pause where there is an immediate safety concern. Any decision affecting a confirmed booking remains subject to the booking terms and applicable rights.
We ask everyone to respect confidentiality, but cannot promise that another participant will always do so.
Photos and personal stories
Applying or participating does not give Gaia Bali permission to use your image, voice or testimonial for promotion. We will ask separately about any proposed promotional use. You can decline without losing your place.
Before making travel plans
Wait for written confirmation of your place and that the Immersion will proceed before booking non-refundable travel. Check current Indonesian entry requirements for your own passport and circumstances. Review insurance cover for the activities and travel you plan to undertake.
